See the third-highest mountain in the Pyrénées, Mount Perdu. Two French national parks border this mountain, which is a World Heritage Site and features picturesque farms, villages, fields, mountain roads, and upland pastures. This central mountain marks the border between France and Spain. Though Perdu is easier to access from Spain, from the French side you can get to the 3,355 m (11,000 ft) peak by chartering a guide. Note that the climbing is difficult. Using our international travel planner, Lautrec attractions like Mount Perdu can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.
