St. Lawrence Market Reviews
This is an incredible food market with an antiques shop across the road on Sundays. The sheer variety of food makes you wish you'd brought another suitcase to take a load home. more »
If you are in Toronto you should definitely go there. You can eat there and shop for very testy food. We love it. And smells good. more »
This market is incredible. It is the oldest market in Toronto and the vibe is just perfect. You can still see evidence of how life was over 150 years ago. I take my class every year for a tour with the official historian for the market and surrounding area. I highly recommend booking Bruce Bell. The tour is fun and informative and then you can eat the most incredible food and bring home the best fish, seafood, cheese, fresh produce, and baked goods and more!
Signature landmark downtown Toronto. Long history with a wonderful array of meat cuts, sausages, fresh fruit and vegetables ...much of which is difficult to find in your local grocery. A great visual and gastonome experience; an oasis that is unusual in the middle of downtown big city. I recommend you simply decide to go if you haven't. Check the website first.
