  • This place literally is a hidden gem. It is well worth a 6 hour drive from Toronto and I try to visit it every year. There are very interesting and informative exhibits related to mining as well as general history of Cobalt and are, and an extensive library of mining literature. I believe their collection is extremely valuable and is worth seeing. In addition to exhibits, visitors can go on a real mine adit tour with a knowledgeable tour guide. This is an unforgettable experience.
  • Waaaay bigger than we expected. The tour to the old mine at site 16 was quite interesting and well worth the price. Also check out all of the other #'d areas around town
